Brad Bowers is an IT Security professional who is passionate about what he does. Brad has over 10 years of information security experience working for military and large corporations. He has worked in many areas of Information Security with a focus in Incident Response, System Forensics, and Threat Intelligence.
When not tinkering with embedded devices, Brad is an evangelist and frequent presenter on the importance of information security and risk management. Brad is a GIAC Advisory Board Member and contributor to the SANS Incident Handling and Hacker Exploits course material as well as a local mentor for several of SANS’s courses.
Brad is a graduate of Drexel University and holds numerous professional certifications including the GIAC Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Incident Handling and Hacker Exploits (GCIH), Forensic Analysis (GCFA), and CISSP.
Brad is currently the Information Security Assurance Manager for a large financial institution where he is responsible for the business’ Information Security Practice including Threat Management, Incident Response, and Risk Mitigation.
